Bold Commercial Construction is proud to support the next generation of skilled professionals. Through our $5,000 Skilled Trades Scholarship, we will award one graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a career in the skilled trades.

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors in Gregg, Upshur, Harrison, Smith, or Panola County who plan to enroll in a trade school, technical college, or registered apprenticeship within 12 months of graduation.

Careers in the skilled trades are the backbone of our industry, and we are proud to invest in students who are ready to build the future.

Trades may include (but are not limited to):
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry. Heavy Equipment and Civil Construction

How to Apply

To apply, students must submit the required materials along with the two documents below:

​

1. Short Application or Word Document
   Student information, school details, trade path, and program choice - Application below. 

2. One-Page Trade Plan
   Outline your trade choice, 5-year goals, steps taken, obstacles, and how the $5,000 will help.

3. 60–90 Second Video
   Introduce yourself and share an example of your work ethic, reliability, or initiative.

4. Verification of Enrollment Path (Submit ONE)
   Acceptance letter, admissions email, proof of application, apprenticeship confirmation, or counselor form.

5. One Recommendation (Submit ONE)
   From a teacher, coach, employer, or counselor (with brief comment).
